Corrosion-Resistant Materials

Both the conveyor and ground-drive chains are made with stainless steel; the frames are structural channel steel with reinforcements, and the hopper and skid are constructed of 12-gauge stainless steel.

The S-500 features corrosion-resistant phenolic flooring to facilitate smooth material flow without buildup from under the conveyor chain. A chemical-resistant, epoxy-based, rust-inhibiting primer and super-tough, acrylic urethane finish combine to protect and extend the life of the spreader.
